Masterchef Here I Am

With nearly 60,000 auditions I made it to the Masterchef 3 Kitchen, yes, I did, and down here is the part of the episode with me.
Gordon Ramsey said "for me one of the most delicious, well presented desserts I've ever  tasted..."  about the dessert I presented to him, you just can't miss it.

My chocolate custard with raspberry center was the main element on my plate but I added a cashew nut crust and garnished with raspberry and passion fruit coulis and handmade cotton candy (or sugar cage like Gordon called it).

Cooking to me is serious business and if you track down all the aspects that cooking at home impacts in the world you will understand why I take it so serious. Cooking means more than just a meal and the way you chose to do it from the selection of ingredients to the serving part affects tremendously the world and the culture that you are inserted in so, do it right!
I believe I'm the only brazilian that have made through the show so far and it makes me super proud doesn't matter how far I go. Watch me tonight and tomorrow (2 days premiere) and see if I made it to the top 36 and cheer with me!

This chocolate custard was the main element on my plate of Masterchef.

ps: Gordon smells like heaven, Joe asked me if I had bought my dessert at a patisserie and Graham said that if there wasn't other judges to try he would have finished my dessert by himself =)

  43. I was squealing with delight - dulce delight - when I tuned in to watch US Masterchef and saw you serve up one of the most impressive deserts I have seen on any show in a long time! And most of all, you did it with such ease and flair. Mind you, I had only recently discovered your blog (I got linked to your amazing Napoleons) but you left as big an impression on me as you did on the judges. I wish you all the best and no matter how far you get, for me you are a WINNER!!!
Much, much admiration and love from Australia. :)
